I love the DBS. I was seriously tempted a while back, and of course from an investment point of view I wish I got one.

However, at the level being asked now, I'd be looking at a Vanquish instead.

Problem is you could only get the 6 speed which by all accounts is a bit of a turd compared to the 8 speed.

£125k 2009 19k DBS
£137k 2015 16k Vanq (8 speed)

still more, but with the Vanquish still coming down, even if the DBS doesn't keep going up, won't be long til it's a straight choice.

As a DBS V owner I still don't understand why the prices are so high that they almost match the new car

nothing to do with me convincing myself that I need a Vanquish... Nothing to do with the fact I'm having AM Bristol's demonstrator for the weekend wink

That looks like the DBS manual that NICHOLAS mee had for sale a couple of months ago that sold within a couple of days. Similar mileage, 2+2, b&o and stealth wheels.

My V12V will stay and do that job for me.

Interested in something between my Vantage and my Range Rover.

We'll see, haven't properly driven any Aston autos. Looking forward to this weekend though.

I have a similar plan but the Vanq would need to be a Volante too so a little while off for me. Something to aim for yes

Drove the Vanquish 8 speed the other day. Nice but not groundbreaking by any means.
