You're joking?

Is your car newer than 2008?

They have also made a gesture of good will by giving me a reduced price on fitting/supplying Ipod connector... Am awaiting to find out...
Have they said how much yet? I'd guess 6-700 quid.

No offer as yet, but as they're last balls up and lack of fault finding left me £1200 short of would have been warranty work it better be decent!!!

From another angle, I just got my DB9 back from Jardine in Sevenoaks after having the diff oil changed. They were great, gave me a new XF to drive for the day and valeted the car, all for a job that cost less than £200, having recently bought the Aston I can say fron nearly a decade of Porsche ownership that there is no way you'd see a Porsche dealer do that. Very impressed.

Interesting thread Burntout. I was in there on Saturday chatting to the sales staff, saying hello, explaining that I'd be looking for a car shortly and was impressed with their knowledge and all round friendliness.

I had heard some stories about the servicing and a few dissatisfied customers from this particular dealer. There is a guy that lives 1/2 a mile from me and I intend to talk to him about his DB9 and see how satisfied he is with the dealer network.

The strange thing is, there are alot of cars out there to buy now, away from the dealers so they absolutely must do things right! With more indys servicing these cars and myself, as someone thats handy with spanners, more people realise these are just cars and can be serviced by others. I hope you get your issues resolved!

Oh dear!

They assured me steps were being taken to improve the customer experience when I had issues last year : see here . Guess they still haven't ironed them out!

It's so annoying - I guess I'll continue to endure a three hour round trip to get my car serviced as it seems I still can't trust my local dealer... rolleyes

Well.....

I have to say that Lancasters pulled it out of the bag in the end...

New set of rear clears re fitted properley...
Agreed in the end to fix the electric folding mirror....
As a gesture of good will supplied and fitted AM Ipod kit with a nice discount and no labour charge........

They even carried out a smart repair to one of my wheels as they were not sure if it was down to them or not....

Only one days charge for the loan car... (of course)

Its a shame this all had to happen but can gladly say that the car came back to me yesterday in exactly the way I wanted....

Now I can enjoy!!! driving
