I thought it would be a good idea to start a general V12VR discussion and picture posting thread, carrying on from the 'testing' topic earlier. I'm sure there'll be lots to discuss, question, admire, post and generally drool over in the not too distant future! Here is confirmed No.4, from an earlier link supplied:- But can anyone confirm if this is No.1? The list as it currently stands:- 001 - White - AM Launch car - TBC? 002 - Alwin 003 - Silver - AM demo KX12KMV 004 - Orange - AM demo KX12KMU 005 - Jonby 010 - Silverspeed 017 - DB9 Ian P

I know Grange Exeter have sold two but do not have any details on the other guy and do not think he is a PH'er.
It has been indicated to me that the plaque numbers will not match the VIN's because of the pre-productions cars that have to be registered. That may be the white car - but we have also seen the meteorite car testing at the ring, plus the orange car from the original dealer info and the red car pictured in Europe - do not think any of those three (meteorite/orange/red) will be customer cars but will have been given VIN's - so not sure how that works?

Can we add the colors of the ordered cars to this list?
Mine (#002) is going to be Cobalt Blue, with black/blue interior.

It is a little odd. There is also potentially a difference between (1) cutomer cars, (2) cars that will be plaqued up and eventually be sold (post press shots, testing, journo drives, etc) and (3) cars that are used for (some of) those purposes but not plaqued up and not ending up being sold Could they start the VIN slightly differently for cars that will never be plaqued up or sold, if there are to be any such cars and therefore still have 101 consecutive VIN numbers that have the last 3 digits match up to plaques on the customer cars ?

Agree - but I am told it is more complicated than that not sure I understand why though

I am amazed they have built 3 demo cars for a limited run of 101? Are they all left hookers as well? Also Derby have sold two cars but I understand the Cambridge AM Dealer still has one to sell? With regards to the design of the V12VR I obviously think it works well but everyone has an opinion and it would be a very dull world if we all liked the same things. Last year I drove my V8R through Italy, most of the time roof down. The attention the car received was amazing however for me the driving experience , roof down , sun out and foot on the loud pedal was driving at its very best.

silverspeed said: If I remember correctly MattV12V has one on order too? Wonder what number his is? Not any more. I reserved number 100 after a long and detailed conversation with the dealer about which numbers were still available: "001 has gone, as has 007, 101 etc" I had an invoice for the car when I laid down the deposit stating as much: "chassis number 100" Was arranging to go and spec the car the dealer dropped into conversation that a 'big buyer' had subsequently taken it, and could they suggest number 20 instead. Dealer basically denied that he'd agreed 100 was mine despite written evidence to the contrary. Hit the roof. Deal off. Deposit refunded and sticking to my coupe. Kind of regretting being so rash now this thread is up and running, though if I'm really honest I do prefer my Morning Frost coupe to any car I've ever seen. It was the limited numbers and likely residuals that had me interested in the roadster more than anything. Roll on a new Vantage or Vanquish roadster? - any rumours?!
