JTJ said: My current XK is black over black, before that I had a rapide in onyx black over black full leather, and almost every other car I had I gusse Its time to movie away from dark/dark combination, but I always worry that I would later regret it and feel tiered of a deferent colour. Don't get me wrong JJ, I love the Tungsten colour but there are so many fabulous colours out there to try - I've never bought the same colour BMW car at work when I renew every 2/3 years. I don't want to be associated with just 1 colour. There is a bit of psychology (in my head anyway) about the car colour at renewal stage, and I need to see a change of colour to emphasise the point.

Grant3 said: You really can't go wrong with either, Meteorite and Tungsten are two of the most popular Gaydon colours. Tungsten became less popular in recent times as people moved away from lighter-mid silver to darker hues (too many silver cars about), but it is now coming back as people get fed up with all the dark colours (fashion figure!). I think Meteorite blends better with the carbon add ons and makes the car look more cohesive and classy, but that's just a taste thing others like the carbon bolt on bits to stand out! I also love the Bitter Chocolate interior, but this may date a bit in the long term, although is more fashionable as of the moment. Black is a classic colour... pure class, and this will stand the test of time. Anyway you can't go wrong, so if you like both colours, choose the best value/deal and best spec (premium audio front parking sensors, light weight seats etc).... don't forget if either car has phantom grey carpets that saves another 1.5kg Both are very nice colours, personally I prefer the meteorite, but the bitter chocolate is just so much more special than black, which as you said is pure classic. not sure about "stand the test of time" bit as a guy who usually prefers black interior, I find classic cars with black leather less appealing than other dark colours, e.g e-type with black leather vs. Marron etc. Both cars have the same interior/exterior specs, The tungsten one has B&O over the meteorite, and a beter deal as well, Bitter cochleae has matching carpets and headlining, black with black carpet an grey headlining, with that still save 1.5kg

If they haven't got phantom grey carpets, no probs a diet will do the same job .

Yup I'm based in Geneva at the moment, the meteorite V12V is in the UK, the tungsten over bitter chocolate is in Switzerland, seems to be hard to sell as theyv got two of them with a very tempting offer.

I love the idea of bitter chocolate. Whilst I understand the practicality of Black, I don't think that it reflects the "handmade" craftsmanship of an Aston, it just says BMW (and thats not a dig I drive one most days!). PS Tungsten looks lovely.... A

The UK Meteorite car wouldnt be at JCT600 would it? If so, thats was my car which I traded in to them when I bought the white one last month. It's a stonking car and it has lightweight seats which for me are now a deal maker! What seats are in the Swiss Tungsten car? If it is the JCT car then feel free to PM me with any questions.

Hi, did the dealer email you the spec sheets? If so these are ideal as it has all the cars details I need. If not then basically, last 3 vin numbers, external and internal colours, incl headlining, carpet, facia, type of seats and sound system and optional extras. That's all thanks
