Nick

You're a bloody idiot. You'll never sell it now! hehe (before everyone jumps down my throat there is some context to that!)

However I love it. Well done you.

You given the TT one back now I guess?
Fancy wrapping this one up?

A few photos of OEM inserts on an early DBS coupe for comparison. Other than stitch colour, very little difference it seems. Trimmers did a commendable job.

The one thing I'm curious about is the stitching on the centre panel. Wouldn't it have made more "sense" to start thin, flare in the middle and end thin so it linked up with the headrest and seat squab...?

+1 yes

Looks great Nick....really good price too.

That suits your car colour - do you think it would suit a Tungsten Silver car ?? If not, what colour inserts would you suggest ?? smile
Morning Phil. Colour would definitely work in yours IMHO. Obviously colour schemes are a very personal choice. Do not discount "Iron Ore" You have a good relationship with your dealer, go have a look

I'm not so sure if red would go with your car Phil. I'd be looking for something like Phantom Grey. Will definitely go with the exterior and still brighten it up inside a bit. Are you going to get Alcantara or leather? smile

I've never been a lover of the entire inside being red - same goes for red ragtops - though I have the utmost respect for those that are.

However the 'touch' of red in your car looks great and it has got me thinking - especially as my Dealer is now the same as Adam's.

Having forked out this year for 4 new tyres, new front and rear pads, Gen2 iPod Kit, refurbed front Alloys (not to mention the 2 new foc wing mirrors), as well as the service, first mot, insurance and £475 road tax, I may hold off on any more adjustments for this season.

Seriously tempted to just squeeze those seats in, though, whilst the price is good confused

Mind you, if I'm going to wrap the car it's a whole new equation on the seat colour smile

I was just trying to emphasise how my views on red interiors had evolved after seeing your interior smile

Nope. It only seems to be the door cards that are not absolutely perfect. TBH though this was done by hand as opposed to a computer operated sewing machine. I guess that is the differnce between what it cost me and what WS would like to have charged me. Hand made stuff hey rolleyes

good that it's not all over smile shame though as you can still use a cardboard template to sew round on a hand machine, the stitching is as much a feature as the leather so you'd think they'd try and match what their machine has created.

like you say, some differences are expected for a 1/4 of the price, but as a company it's an area I'd be looking at imroving, £200 extra for 1/2 days special attention with a template? gota be worth it, to both parties.

Nothing hand made >should< be perfect, that's why you buy handmade - it was made by hand and isn't perfect, it's unique. They look absolutely fine to me smile

Do you know who did it Nick? Bit crap the Leics guy letting you down like that frown

Lewis has mail but for the benefit of others you would need to go via Stratstone as the chap is a trimmer and has no idea how to take AM's to bits
