Can DBS ceramic brake discs be fitted to a DB9? Is it straightforward or do calipers need changing also?

Doubt the alloys will fit either - why not just buy a Virage smile

Got the discs. All 4 for £2k only done 1000miles. And wheels are 20".
So barring the opinions, can they be fitted or do new callipers also need fitting?

You need new calipers, yes. And brake pads obviously, I believe they're a grand a set Steve! Bamford Rose have a set of DBS calipers which they were going to use for one of their big brake (steel) kits for a DB9/Vantage, this was a few weeks back though.

If you want to sort this - they'll be the ones to figure it out. Bargain for the discs, I'd be very interested to know what the entire set up ends up costing you.

My Brembo GranTurismos are mind-blowingly good, and the BR steel kit better still and on a par with the CCMs for brake force - just heavier obviously. Can't imagine how good they must feel...

I was very fortunate with the purchase of the discs. So if I took into account the costs of calipers and pads plus fitting it may well be a bargain.
I'm intrigued about the BR brake upgrade. The CC discs I'm told take a while to warm up?

Not sure how true that is, however the carbon brakes on my DBS are sensational right from cold..

Fantastic on my Virage.
Never thought they would make such a difference to the feel of the V8V brakes.

I have 6 pot racing Brembos on mine with 380mm front discs. A much cheaper option with plenty of stopping power. (I needed it going from 450bhp to 520bhp).
