£4.05 for a 330ml bottle of Peroni! Jesus christ that's expensive!

Splendid, many a manly tale will be told about tonight... However, only one group, the beer drinkers, proved to be as manly as this thread would suggest...

I draw your attention to 'Hellfire' and the use of three decent chaps of it... Thats 26 pints in 3 hours for 3 Astonauts, not bad going. I of course stayed for 2 more pints of Ruby, a bottle of wine, and 3 x Vodka Martinis in Hix afterwards while you all bloused off. Am I the only one who cares? rolleyes

Apparently our server was Grandma. She didn't look that old!

I think it's fairly good that I sloped off after the Rubys then. I'm pretty sure that a bottle of wine would have finished me. Still a 10-11 pint lunch is OK
Good news was I did not go past my station woohoo
And the misses is still talking to me this morning.
Shame I forgot my bike lights though. Those country lanes sure are dark without them!

Only if you buy your oil from a main dealer!

I wouldn't pay over £4 for a pint of Peroni, let alone a small bottle!

Because I am a special customer of Grange smile. Or that I am just a pain in the arse and they invite me to shut me up????? You shlaaaag

Anyway at this moment the car is not being worked on as the locking wheelnut key has broken due to the nuts being put on WAY TOO TIGHT and BR could not get them off..................... I will not mention on the forum who was the last company to put them on!!!!! But at least 2 of you here were with me...

Are you sure they weren't just to spec? The wheel nuts are set to a ridiculously high torque (something like 180 NM I think). Can't imagine them being easy to undo at that torque!

True George, but it specifically says on the locking wheel nut instructions (from Aston Martin) not to overtighten as the locking wheelnut as the key could break if overtightened........
