I believe the term for that review is 'glowing'  Good stuff, let's hope they sell plenty of them

I normally love Cropley's work, but that review seems to be the work of a rushed effort done on the train. Disjointed, no flow and some really odd phrasing:
"midships seating for the front occupants"
Eh? As opposed to what? The front occupants sitting on the bonnet?
Really looking forward to seeing a twin test of the new Vanquish and the SLS GT - that's the car I see as the main rival.

Still can't warm to the 'mouth', and it seems too weighty over the rear wheels, tappering out to a Bentley-esqe rear end.
No, DBS still holds the cards IMO.

Have never heard a petrolhead not like the sound of an Aston on start up! Perhaps says all about the review.

Reviews sound like its an excellent car! I'm sure Clarkson will have a go on the new series of Top Gear and no doubt he'll probably love it.

And it will be going straight to Aston Works to have a manual DBS gearbox fitted, at no doubt an extortionate amount of money. Will be very interesting if this rings true...

Very disappointing review there for the Vanquish. There is a fear that whilst it may look nice and improvements in some areas, it just isn't the vaste improvement that AM needs to take the brand higher. Interesting as I have also heard bad reviews on the One-77 and AM not allowing journos to drive it so they couldn't report on how bad it really was to drive. I really hope AM have produced a good product here.

If he has not driven it, that's serious bulls  tting.

He also hints that basic spec before extras is poor, whereas the reality is that all Aston are incredibly well specced as stadnard compared to their opposition, regardless of the dotty prices of options, which is wheer Aston have simply followed suit with regard to strategy
