Sounds positive?

Hopefully your parents are nearing the light at the end of the tunnel on this one. It would be nice to think they will very soon be able to look forward to enjoying all that is positive about Aston Martin ownership ....

Expensive maintenance bills, hand built quality and lots of "is that a db9?" questions?

I jest. Hopefully now they can make progress.
Key fobs & window alignment were a lost cause

Aha, thanks... have been wondering wink

Looks like a positive result is on the way, albeit hard fought. They're going to love the car, I know I did smile

Hopeful as in the vehicle appears sound and it's smaller issues.

As for the dealer.... whistle

Good luck to you and your parents.

As Yeti says they will get to love and enjoy the car (eventually). I've had my 7 Vantage for 5 years now and still love it, even with its recent expensive service bill hehe

Thanks. After having 2x classic mercs at once and previously having a discovery for 7 years... He's used to dreading service time.

The disco was alarming, never known a money pit like it. Even the xk8 was cheap by its standards

'MARCUS FOTHERGILL SPECIALIST CARS LIMITED today announced Resolutions for Winding-up'. So they went bankrupt, I assume I am therefore allowed to mention them as they aren't trading anymore?

I won't mention that they've reopened and are trading under another name says a quick Google - haven't even changed the mobile phone number, it's burned into my retinas having called it 50 times a day only to be ignored rolleyes
Offering a "bespoke" service these day's lewis!
Hmmm I had some very similar dealings with the same guy, I was lied to and ignored, I bought a car for 30 k off him and it broke down as soon as I left the sales man, it went back and it had some of its problems fixed however when the problems came back after 2 weeks nobody could be bothered to answer my calls, when they did they said they would ring me back, anyway after a few months I gave up and got it fixed at a garage costing me over £2000!!!
I should have given it back when it broke down when I bought it but he said he would sort it, and I trusted him, the main problem was the salesman I think, he fobbed me off for ages!! still not bumped into him yet, can't remember his name but it was a name which suits a man or woman, he said he used to go in my local pub on a wk end, since buying that car he's never been in!!
