The plaque numbers I have confirmed which do not match the vins are:-
002/005/010/017
Ian's car, plaque no: 17 has arrived at the local AM dealer. I took some photos of his stunning car yesterday and emailed them to him (he's away in Mauritius at the moment).002/005/010/017
I won't post any of the photos though, don't want to "steal his thunder".

My Vin is 171 so they are getting through them now. Do we know where the build numbers start and how they relate to Coupe Vin numbers? Perhaps Phil (Mako) might be able to she'd some light?
Graham,The Coupe vs Roadster vins:-
The Coupes end in GS00XXX (1-999) and GS01XXX (1000 onwards)
The Roadsters are GS21XXX
The Roadster vins I currently have are:-
GS21003/004/021/060 and these appear to be Aston demos
GS21139/171 - owners cars
The plaque numbers I have confirmed which do not match the vins are:-
002/005/010/017
Hope you find this of interest!
Bit confusing with the Roadsters having some AM cars so low in the range and a big gap to customer cars ! Do you know any Zagato Vin numbers?

I was pondering this before. I came up with Hardly Green exterior (painted bonnet vents too), and all exposed carbon painted in jet black (q option maybe?). Cream truffle and parliament green interior with walnut fascia. Contrast stitching. Winchester green roof. Silver wheels. Perfect
Give me a Mondeo over that any day - yuk. Look Georgie, if you're going to point fingers at other peoples' decisions around number plates, colour schemes, choice of wheels etc then at least offer the world something that isn't more revolting!jonby said:

friend of mine has got his some days ago No. 101/101 in Elwood blue
There was a story that No. 101 was ordered by the person that won £101M on the lottery - unless your friend is that person, the story is obviously false, or the lottery winner pulled outSlarti said:

Sounds fine to me, not my choices, but that's what specc'ing your own car is about - choices
Some pople, with all the choices in the world, still choose James Bond Resale Grey and Suicide Black leather. It takes all sorts
Gefeliciteerd Alwin, erg mooi!
Great looking car, coming week will be good weather for some topless driving here (in NL), it will last probably one week, so enjoy!

From the look of your coupe, it appears you don't need to be advised to get rid of that ugly numberplate mount on the new roadster.
Indeed......please Alwin, get a small license plate (if you want I can send you example pics of a perfect plate made by Cito, but I am sure Kroymans can do the same). Edited by AWV12 on Sunday 11th November 14:15

No tongue in cheek from me,. Hardley green... Cream truffle, parliament green and walnut.....Winchester green roof.... Don't get me wrong, I also like green but that mish mash above sounds more like the spec for a drawing room than a beautiful sports car...... George often criticises everyone else's choices, and then comes up with Joseph's technicolor dream coat as his own spec

Difference is with the numberplate thing - colour schemes aren't illegal. Though I accept they aren't to everyone's taste, people can still give their opinion if it's positive or negative, it doesn't bother me Lunablack said:

My bike will hopefully be getting done in black and fluorescent yellow next year A replica of this I hope:
At the moment it's white with black wheels though The sooner I get it done the better.

How so? The only green roof they do is Winchester green, so that would be the logical choice to have with Hardly green. Same with the interior - the only choice with green is Parliment. So I'd have parliment green carpets and cream truffle seats/dash. Basically the exact same interior as my car now but with cream truffle instead of sandstorm George H said:

Just go with the iamonee, scheme..... It's more tasteful....... Walnut FFSFabulous looking V12R - but:
That hood is just not up to date any longer. Comparing the two edges going along the roofline with Porsche's new magnesium based folding roof that emulates the lines of the coupe roof is today's state of the art and Aston is just not there. The V12V coupe is one of the pretties designs around because of the sweeping roofline and short tail and with that roof all this is lost on the convertible. Missed opportunity or lack of development resources for a 160k car.
