These do not sound like great people to work for, but you sound like just the sort of person a better outfit would love to have.

its not the management per say, its the other staff members that have complained. I guess they cant fathem you cant park an aston martin like you can a 2k car. They just see special treatment.

That is unbelievable! Your work colleagues complained because you parked your car in the staff car park, and they complained only because it is an Aston. Such immature behaviour.

Been following this since the thread informing us you were getting the V8V - as said already, glorious car - best colour too IMO. Always looks better in the flesh than on pics.

Regarding the parking space, sorry to hear it - such a shame work "friends" can be like that. Can't you park the Aston in a decent area within walking distance of work? Wouldn't have to join Jeremy Kyle's audience on the bus then..

Jealousy, plain and simple.

At least you know it's safe at home, would be a shame if it got scratched whilst you were at work if it's as rough as you say.

the area isnt the ghetto, BUT its not somewhere i would feel safe leaving it all day everyday.

We have had cars broken into and vandalised and even stolen in broad day light.

Oh well not a great deal i can do about it now is there, head held high. Ill get the train to work.. save my self a fortune in fuel and hopefully not get mugged haha

Grrrr, that's made me mad. Good to see, however, Laura, that you're dealing with it with dignity, as it would be easy to get on the wrong end of this and create a poor working environment for you and your employers. Rise above it etc....

So what would they do if you were to park in one of those spaces? If its not a council run carpark they can't fine or clamp you.. I'd park there anyway smile

How shallow minded some people can be! Haven't the employers got any bottle....pathetic. Is there a case for discrimination? at least they should pay for using Pubic Transport.

Toro Red is still my favourite Aston colour.

I spec'd my first Toro Red V8 Vantage in that colour after a trip to the factory in early '06 - saw one on the production line and I knew it was the right choice! It was a VERY rare colour choice back then and got a lot of attention on the roads. I think it dropped off the colour charts in 2008 although I may well spec the colour as a special if I ever choose to have another AM from new smile

I often wonder where my car went. It was a 2006MY car which started life on the plate FH06 CVX (I think) with back leather/black stitching, came from Stratstone Derby and went back to them in 2008 when I swapped to the N400.
