I thought it best to begin a new thread carried on from here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Well it seems that enough of us can get out for a run on the 16th Dec to make it worthwhile. Somewhere in the midlands seems to be the most logigal start point given the geographical spread.

The list so far....please feel free to add yourself to it, don't be shy if you havent been before....

Count me in if it's the heritage museum or raf cosford (as long as I've still got the car!)

+1 for Cosford as the new grotto is just down the road and I fancy a mooch round there!

Heritage or Cosford would be my preferences.

Cosford is pushing the boundaries of the Midlands a little

Heritage - Mike at BR might know a decent route

Donington - I think there may be a few decent roads round there but not sure

Diary is clear so should be able to make the 16th. Will be my firt Aston outing, so not sure how it works... is it solo or do some bring partners?

Since it is Christmas and the chaps at BR deserve a break, how about we do the Heritage and get the BR chaps along. I'm sure there would be some passenger seats available should they not wish to drive and I bet they know some great routes around that area.
