Astonauts Sunday Morning Run 16th Dec 2012
Discussion
Godspeed Astonauts, enjoy the day and no silly buggers!
Despite my MTFU comments at those with winter tyres, my car can barely get up the slope out of the garage in dry conditions... I won't be switching but can see those with winter tyres being able to achieve MUCH more on a good run!
I'm still in bed and have a day of Christmas shopping and chores to do... Think I know where I'd rather be :cry

Great day out and towards the end and off beat roads were the place to be. Thanks Steve and cheers for letting me the along in my non aston.
just got home after 400 miles.
Great to meet everyone,
It was fun despite sooo many muppets on the road, in cars and on bloody bikes, got stuck behind a guy peddling like a lunatic up a hill and still going slower than walking pace, I mean, What IS the point??? all that mud and open countryside and they all want to use the road, don't they know its for cars!
did anyone else see the guy on the side of the road waving to everyone? Seemed like a happy chap....
Nice to see Chatsworth house
Carbon brakes and Corsas made for an interesting drive. May have worn out the little orange light on the dash, it was flashing most of the morning
and finally a BIG thanks to Steve for organising

Just got back after an enjoyable drive. After a slight detour at the start and much of the first hour stuck behind Sunday drivers the roads opened up and we had plenty of opportunities to give it the beans. It's a shame a couple of you had to leave early on as the roads were much less busy later on.
Really lucky with the weather too with the sun shining most of the day.
Good to meet old and new faces, look forward to seeing you on the next run out.
I'll post some pictures later and hopefully a video.

Just got back from a great day out, good to meet everyone for the first time, definately will be going again.
I would also like to say thanks to steve for organising, top job. I didn't think the convoy could get much more 'Hollywood' but the 458 definately added to it. Being rear gunner for a lot of the run I was just in time to see the local townsfolk picking up their jaws as we all rumbled through.
