Great day! Thanks for getting the bit between the teeth and getting it organised Steve.
From the Alpine hairpins to Bilbo Baggins secret valley, loved it.
The ever reliable and now aquatic Vanquish made it back home in one piece,
something I was having my doubts about while chasing Steve on his winter tyres.
Nice to meet all you new guy's and I'm sure we'll all meet again next year.

Hi guys and girl wink

Another great Astonaut day out.driving Don't quite know how Steve managed to have booked the weather considering how its been recently. Guess that added to the amount of sunday drivers about early on. But not enough to ruin a great day. Goood company as usual with a lovely lunch at the end - I'm still stuffed! Nice to meet up with some new faces - Hope you weren't put off TOO much hehe and will join us again - they are not a bad lot really biggrin

Blimey... Italian build quality hasn't got much better - Looks like the Ferrari turned to pile of dust.

Hey guys,
Awesome day out, really enjoyed it despite that annoying red Toyota starlet killing a good 10 miles off our journey!

Mr Wavey Bloke seemed happy to see us all didn't he! I pamped my horn at him and tried to spray my washers as we passed him....

Must say a big thanks to Steve for organising. Great route, especially that fantastic gorge!
And that pub, very nice!
Was I the only one who noticed the young dark haired waitress???

Anyways, a trip to see Mike at BR to get my baby into the 400 club def now required as chasing Tony in his V12V was just embarrassing rolleyes

Nice to meet everyone, looking forward to the next!

Guys - I have been reading your thread since it was posted last week, and fortune I have some issues with signing onto piston heads and wasn't able to contact anyone until today.
I'm not currently an Aston Martin owner, but I'm seriously considering getting a vantage and was hoping to tag along with you on this little jaunt albeit in a Ferrari rather than Aston. I just wanted talk to a few of you face-to-face and just get some feedback on ownership. I posted a couple of questions on the forum over the last few weeks but you can't beat face-to-face chatting.

I don't live too far away from Gaydon which I know was one of the destinations you were considering. I love the tagalong if you come out this way in the New Year as long as no one has any objections to a shiny red Italian follower?

I absolutely love to, but unfortunately based North of Oxford and don't get into London much these days as I just can't stand all the traffic.
You guys had this way perhaps I can tag along/catch up. We do have some awesome roads over this direction.
