Will be taking a trip up to Loch Ness next Friday from Kent
You can also pull dougnuts in Ben Nevis carpark (off road - not public highway), with a nice restaurant at the top. You can also race the Harry Potter (Hogwarts Express), which is a nice 12 mile cross country run (Not exceeding 59mph - make surecop). The Glen Coe valley was a highlight though.

Depending on the weather I'm not sure you will be able to run through Glen Coe. If it's snowing, they actually close the road. I think you have to go all the way around Scotland to get to you destination. That in itself might be nice.

You have winter tyres?

Scotland, next week ....... umm, might want to look at Winter Tyres. Even just a dusting of snow will make your RWD Bridgestones spin, not to mention make you go sideways. laughThey work best from +7 downwords, so about now is a big YES to winter tyres.

I swear by them, I took a 2 wheel drive through think snow and I was gob-smacked, you really really might want to consider them. Michelins / Pirelli's are the only 2 makes that can match the front and rear tyres together, there are a lot of other makes, but the front and backs will be different brands.

Spring is the best time - Late April / early May.
Used to work in the Scottish Lochs, wouldn't be taking my Aston up there at this time of the year.

Why did you change your mind, snow or loss of traction, or just plain cold weather .......

Do tell me when you're off again, there are a couple of us in the Farm Lands of the West Country that like the Highlands smile
