Meteorite, hammerhead, tungsten?
Discussion
Meteorite is the darkest, tungsten the lightest and Hammerhead is sort of inbetween the two. Your best bet is to go and look at them all in the flesh. You don't get a true idea of how much the paint changes with the light until you see them up close.
Hammerhead is my personal favourite out of those listed, that's what I'd go for.

All look good with a little dirt? Or just if not recently washed? I was leaning towards meteorite or hammerhead... All are equally understated? Thanks!
All cars look better when washed! Despite what Yeti says. Have a look at Grigo Titanio (Ferrari colour but there seems to be quite a few cars painted in it) and Quantum silver too. All are equally dull and grey!
Meteorite looks stunning in any light but even more so in sunlight.
Arguably some owners opt for a more individual colour as they see perceive black or silver as boring. They are the more popular colours though as the colours sit extremely well with the modern lines of the car. It's all subjective though.

Yeti
Tungsten: Medium Grey, grey fleck, grey reflectance in certain lights (grey). Induces narcolepsy when confronted with a green car that you wish you'd bought.
Meteorite: Medium Grey, greyish grey fleck, grey reflectance in certain lights (light grey). Induces apathy and loss of appetite. Even free cake loses its charm.
Hammerhead: Medium Grey, greyish grey/grey fleck, grey reflectance in certain lights (medium light grey). Coma, possible death if combined with suicide black interior, even with life-affirming silver stitching.
Ad nauseum.
Dirt has the same effect as all three with the added bonus of free paint protection
I do like Hammerhead though that might just be the name. And Grigio Titanio as George mentions is a lovely, liquid silver colour.
Of course, we all have our own favourite colours, so you will receive conflicting recommendations.
I wanted a sober colour, because I felt it suited the understated aspect of the design tradition.
Having initially selected one of the standard 'silvers', I then noticed that the colour appeared to change to a brownish tint when the car is wet. Not sure exactly which colour that is, but possibly Meteorite. I then saw a DBS painted in Grigio Titanio - Ferrari, and that immediately became my favourite colour.
Some colours do look better in photographs though.
Sorry George.
Your problem might be that they are quite rare. If you are buying new, then you can just pay the extra.
However, finding a pre-owned one in the specification that you want, might not be easy. My own search went on for a year, but at least the internet pre-owned list does help these days.
Enjoy choosing your car.

I've got Titanium Silver which has a very slight blue tinge to it (perhaps this was only after they changed the paint mixture in 2007 - they maintained the name).

Had tungsten silver DB9 and was a brilliant colour and finish was astounding.
Now have quantum silver DBS and have to say that I prefer this as it is shiny as hell and really looks well.
That said, all finishes are all of the highest quality but would stick to mainstream as resale could be affected.
All above are my opinions and not meant to offend

I have Meteorite and like it a lot, but prefer the colour flip and flake in Quantum Silver.

Black, Black, Black. Is there any other colour .....?
I looked at the used AM's on Autotrader and it seems that black commands a premium because everyone wants it second hand, if it's got a black interior the second hand value goes up again. If money is no object and you don't mind losing a few grand, get what you want. If you want a classic colour that will hold its residual better, go for Black with Black interior.
Is not Black just a really dark Grey ?
