Decision finally made to let the Vanquish go and just put a deposit down on a California which I exchange on Saturday biggrin

As I'm trading my Vanquish in, it makes no odds whatsoever to me, but given all the horror stories that surround Vanquishes .... thought it worth putting in a final post to say to potential Vanquish buyers .... it has been a fantastic car and a great ownership experience over the last 2+ years ... so anyone who is considering one; they are great cars and good value for what you get, they just need looking after properly.

Listen to, but don't be put off by all the horror stories 'non-owners' say ... it's the same as any car, buy the right car (which in the Vanquish's case has had the box, clutch, coils & sensors etc all done) and it should treat you well.

I'll definitely consider another Aston in the future, but for now I'm off to the red side !!!

Thanks for all suggestions and inputs to my posts and questions over the time!

Ciao !!!

Good luck... for the 'ladies model/boulevardier' supposedly the California is fantastically fast with great handling apprently.

Looks are subjective but I like it and could also be tempted one day. It will seem VERY modern compared to a Vanq smile

They gave me a car for a whole weekend and everything about it was newer, faster, sharper etc etc and it felt plenty quick enough and handled better than the Vanquish ... so I'm quite happy but have just found myself looking at the Novitec website and for turbo's etc etc ha ha

You're not the first to go from an Aston to a California. What colour is yours?
