Lines are spoilt along with a the overall masculine appeal of the coupe. Bit Wilmslow for me, but only my opinion.
I think you would recognise that this simply gets into the area of personal preference ? Which of course is what makes the world interesting.

I don't see your point being a V12 issue however, more a roadster/coupe issue. Some prefer the coupe, some prefer the roadster, some prefer the look of the coupe but buy a roadster because of the aural & 'elements exposure' stimulation. Roof up, the coupe looks more attractive (to me) hands down. However the positives of the roadster outweigh the negatives for me but I fully accept it's the other way round for some.

As for the wilmslow issue, the flippant response is that I am the only V12VR buyer through wilmslow yet Broughtons tell me they have sold 3 and JCT leeds at least 2 that I know of. (Broughtons incidentally tell me they have also sold at least one Zag, whilst wilmslow have sold none to my knowledge). The more serious response is that in my own personal opinion, colours/plates/add-ons/etc have the ability to make any Vantage, or indeed any Aston, more or less 'wilmslow' far more than whether it's a soft top or a coupe. There are plenty of truly awful looking cars (to me) in wilmslow & indeed cheshire but that's because of what people have done to them, not the 'starting block' of the basic vehicle - a V12 Coupe in gold with contrasting CF vents & splitters surely looks more 'wilmslow' than my ceramic grey roadster will with CF that blends in, black callipers and single tone wheel colour ?

Points very well made, and agree entirely.

Absolutely, young Jonathan.

I'm really excited about seeing your final car and you should take it as a compliment that so many others gave serious thought to following you.

You should not be made to feel like an apologist for a flawed (imo) AM strategy of limiting the production of a car that so many others would have bought given the right conditions smile
