Pubs aren't open yet in London.
Around Smithfield they are, and The Hamilton Hall at Liverpool Street. Never been in it this early in the morning whistle

What about the Trees, Fast Dual Carriageways and a lack of traffic jams smile

I live in Redditch as well.
That's a good point, how could I forget all the tree's. As an immigrant to Redditch from Birmingham, I spent the first 3 months after moving here getting lost within 2 miles of my house because the only visible 'landmarks' were trees smile.

I took the car out this morning and love it - though I've never managed to light up traction control lights while trying to accelerate relatively gently in a straight line at ~70m.p.h before (and the noise ....) smile.

By the way I followed you down to Gaydon for the PH factory tour earlier in the year in my previous V8.

Three minute amble for me.

Since the world didn't end and it is now after 11.00, I may have a cheeky glass of fizz.

Roof off into 'work' today, basically on a present-collecting run as Mrs Yeti decided to have all her stuff delivered to my work... but it hasn't shown up frown

Still, was nice to get the roof off, very mild out!

Wondered if it was you. I will keep an ear out for you around Redditch.

Another good thing is 1 speed camera and Worcestershire is virtually camera free.

The seems to be the week for people acquiring new cars and my 2009 V12V arrived yesterday to the cold and wet Midlands. It's replacing a 2011 V8 and I couldn't be more excited except for the weather, the only bit I can try at the moment is the boot mounted umbrella.

No decent pictures at the moment but heres a rubbish one from the garage.

I just want the rain to stop and the temperature to creep up a bit now.
where did you get your floor tiles?

I haven't driven it in the rain yet. It was delivered a day earlier than originally planned by Stratstones (I bought it from Amersham) so my insurance only came into effect today and it's so lousy I'm waiting for slightly better weather.
Nice car, is this the quantum one they had for sale?
At least when the good weather comes it will feel like a new car.

also, if you park a wet/dropping car on them can the water get down the joints and make the floor damp underneath or are the joints sealed please.

It is the quantum one. I took it out yesterday and it wasn't too bad, just got to learn to be more careful with the right foot!

It was going well until my mate bet me that I couldn't down half a fishbowl of this random blue cocktail. After that the night went a bit hazy!

We then went our separate ways for the night but all is not lost!

The tiles 'click together' pretty tightly but I doubt they would be entirely waterproof. I would have thought that you could lay a polythene waterproof membrane underneath pretty cheaply if you wanted the setup waterproof.
