Don't think that having more cylinders make me scared of you pair. I need to take you both up in my machine, then we'll see who's got the minerals!
It has nothing to do with cylinders Bincenzo said:
Actually Cockers, I have heard on the grapevine (Nick) that it may have something to do with your driving skills, which I understand are quite enviable. To quote a mutual friend - Git. Looking forward to the April get together already
Mark, don't confuse skill with lunacy You will be able to choose on our run to go at the Mikey/Cockers/Tony/Nick/Molly speed......or the Jockman/Retman speed.
One method ensures that you get your food quicker, whilst the other ensures your wife's spine arrives intact
BTW, roads are lovely and clear up here

Ah, but were you dressed 'poshest'?
I once parked next to Gloria Hunniford at the Sevenoaks tip. She was dressed as per the TV studio. I do not know whether her white jacket was still clean, after throwing away the rubbish.
Sorry to have to mention white, Luna.

Drove mine to Bristol yesterday to look at wedding rings and it's with me over the bridge now. Shame it's just a motorway jaunt but god it felt good after 2.5 litres of Land Rover diesel over Christmas
Mrs Yeti prefers the Land Rover, there's more room
Oh, and it looks amazing clean. New Year's resolution is to keep it looking nicer. No idea why, just grown out of the dirty car phase

I'm never that hungry, so I'll be dawdling I suspect. Mind you, my wife's not coming either so I guess I could try to stay with the loons! You will be able to choose on our run to go at the Mikey/Cockers/Tony/Nick/Molly speed......or the Jockman/Retman speed.

Afraid fast driving is one of solo pleasures of life if I want to arrive with all bodily parts still connected to where they were at the start of the journey One method ensures that you get your food quicker, whilst the other ensures your wife's spine arrives intact

Rob & I had a bit of a blast on Sunday - he drove to Abergavenny and I drove back via Monmouth (location of the only tunnel in about a 50 mile radius!) so that was my first drive of 2013. Under 'normal' circumstances we generally take Purdey out together, however, I've had an unusual start to this week which has involved me getting to take her out on my own.We were due to 'hotel-sit' last night at a certain Cotswold venue that those who know us will be aware of (annual staff party being held elsewhere). However, Rob let me down (accepted a job elsewhere) leaving me to look after a (closed) 35 bedroom hotel alone! Not having prior experience of this task I was a little anxious and persuaded a friend that her family could cope without her for a night as my need of company was greater than theirs!
Well I felt Rob owed me for abandoning me to my fate so I thought it only fair that us girls should travel in style hence my first proper use of the Aston this year has been a trip to work yesterday morning, 55 miles up to the hotel y'day afternoon and a good blast back this morning. It's great to see Purdey just outside my office door waiting for the trip home. As you all know - every journey is special
PS If anyone thought they saw an Aston at a truckstop near Evesham this morning - yes, that was us - our need of bacon is as great as the next bloke's and the problem with a hotel without staff is there's no one to cook your breakfast!
