Congrats Di, you did really well, good for you.

Now, who was that main dealer?!

I can only imagine they had a buyer waiting for a car in your spec, but whatever, a great result.

Nice to hear with so many keen to moan and talk prices down.

The V12V is already a classic. Prices will drop further of course as mileages rise but the worst really is over for depreciation. Another reason why I think it's a great time to buy.

I hope you are right, as I have just changed from a V8V to a V12V.
I'm also of the opinion that they might not make a lot more of these cars and as it's now the only manual V12, they might be a bit more sought after in the future.

The market for large capacity V12 coupes is, of course, massive. As is the number of people willing to drop even 80-90k on a car right now smile

"Now" is always the right time to buy a nice car IMO. Just walk into doing so with eyes wide open on the total cost of ownership and ensure it won't sully your experience. Call some dealers and ask what they'd give you for "your" car as an out right sale. I think most would be shocked.

Di sold at the right time for a price i would not have beleived. Her original offer is what i would have thought.
Di fantastic deal you did there, should help with not having the car any more.

Only if they aren't going to shed more value. Which is not the case I'm afraid.

Aston have been very poor at both their pricing and dealer stock strategies. Neither help residuals one bit (even firms who are traditionally good at these things are struggling a bit).

These will be starting with a 6 before a massive amount of time has passed. 12-18mths tops.
To be honest Murph i expected this to happen last year, it didnt.
