Not sure if anyone else has noticed the handbrake is too close to the seats and I'm inadvertently scratching the side of the seat when using it! frown

I have adjusted the handbrake cables on my car, to reduce the lever travel.
I now have a good handbrake on 3 clicks of the ratchet.
It's an easy diy job with 2 22m spanners.

I do have big hands, and lightweight seats, and just use my fingertips under the handbrake, there isn't room to grab it as you would normally

I will have to try your method as I'm putting my whole hand around it and catching the seat. A bit annoying that I've scratched it slightly already!
