Evening all, Mindy also says hello
Thanks to mikey for great organisation of this trip, it was fantastic and it was great meeting everyone
We have just watched jockman get his bar bill, I think his heart was in his mouth for a few seconds
Tony - thanks for the company on the way home I was impressed with the rather civilised driving (Mindy more so as she didn't have to grip the door handle tightly and tell me to slow down )
Unfortunately we can't make the July outing as we are already away but hope to make another soon!

Don't know if anyone else agrees, but of those who have done these runs several times before; did we think the splitting into groups was the way to go?
Not a question of fast vs slow, just a question of being able to get a group through a traffic light sequence, through a town or around a roundabout all together! Our group of 7 was great, 5 is probably better in an ideal world
Yeah, I think small groups worked better, much easier to keep everyone together, and easier to see when you'd left someone behind. I'm glad you thought Tony's driving was more civilised than mine - my team driving home involved a lot of Police and Mikey K just managing to keep up

Oh dear did you get stopped?!I thought I was going to get pulled by someone on the way home until I realised he was just tailgating me
We enjoyed our spin in the principality, starting with a warm up run into Newtown with TokenJock which was fun. Great to see folks enjoying their cars and making an impressive sight against the landscape - thanks to Mikey's route planning. Seeing the Lotus group was entertaining too. Even though we were in the third group I am sure there is less tread on those tyres........hmmm.

Did you take any squirrels back?Bit late on posting up but nevermind.
Thanks everyone for a good day out, it was good to catch up with those of you that I know and see some new faces.
Big thanks to Yeti & TJ for taking me... really is appreciated!
I'll post some photos up at some point when I get 5 minutes to sit down on the laptop.
Cheers,
Andy
