I have to go down to Devon this Saturday for a memorial service and the last thing I need is any shenanagins with not getting up hills or sliding into ditches which would go down like the ubiquitous cup of cold sick in the circumstances.

I'm up for taking the Aston, but before I do that does anyone out there have any *actual* real down on the ground information of road conditions on Dartmoor?( up as far as Widecombe) right now. Otherwise it'll be the Alfa with snow tyres and 4WD.
That said it's an Alfa so probably won't make it anyway.

I can tell you that Exmoor is mostly impassable, pictures from home yesterday showed a lot of the white stuff!!

And Dartmoor is slightly higher...

Just get him to fly the V8V down, a bit like how they put that 310quish on the Burj al Arab.

Like it.
Was it just me who wanted to have a hot wheels ramp by the Burj to get that Vanquish down again. I mean; how hard could it be?

I'm between Dartmoor and Exmoor. Snow still laying on the hills but it's warming up tomorrow with temp 3-4 deg C and getting warmer overnight with Sat temp 7 deg. Sunday and Monday similar.

Thanks Rolando

I may ask for an update later tomorrow if that's OK.

3 deg C here at the moment and damp. Feels colder. Still a bit of snow lying on N facing fields.

Forecast is much the same as I posted yesterday, i.e. getting warmer but still in single figures.

Thanks for all the info.
Took the V8V and it was absolutely fine. Needed a good wash when we got back though.

Glad you had a good trip.

I was out on Dartmoor on Saturday and I've never known it so wet and boggy.
