Dropped off Johnny at lunch

Adrian gave Johnny a preop check with no major issues found (phew)
Boy he knows his stuff! - within 100 yds of driving he'd spotted the "issues" I wanted them to look at
We talked about tyres and came up with a couple of options - DBS alloys with std 295's on or existing alloys and up the tyre to 285's I'm favouring the latter as the existing alloys are the light weight ones.
Probably will go to PSS's as well.

Keep us posted Mike. Your car is going to be very special indeed. Am I wrong in stating that it will be packing a full GT4 race spec motor but with a 5ltr capacity topped off with a dual induction system? I am going to have a wager with you. I reckon on Bamford Rose achieving at least 560 BHP. Anything less and you lose the bet. All monies to Help the Heroes. I'm in for £10 cos I'm flash!

yes 5.0GT4 spec plus larger valves, twin throttles & pinnacle exhausts
Probably 200 cell cats with resonators, exhaust valve always closed until the sport button is pressed then all hell will break lose! hehe

You'd better pay the £10 now wink

Maybe I should start a poll hehe
The "boys" were cagey about finish date as they need to allow for service work and last minute customer requests
Hopefully it will be done by then but I'd rather they didn't rush it.

I know how you feel... The original plan was a 2 week operation but 'WE' keep coming up with those little 'extra bits'.

To quote Doctor Mike "As a result of pinnacle kit and cams, Blofeld should be the biggest performance delta we have seen on a 450BHP DB9".

So..as we approach the end of week 6 it will all be worth the wait....

Back to the wager thing, could it be a nice way of raising some money for a very worthwhile cause?

Am very excited for you Mikey - will be following with interest

Am happy to go with the wager for charity option - if we do, can I suggest Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA Trust) as the recipient - it's a charity I've been doing a lot of fundraising for recently

surely the answer is a sweepstake - nearest one (as decided by Bamford Mike) is the winner ?

All entry money to charity, winner gets a free Bamford Rose...............................................keyring
