It varies from model to model and the power management of the car. I have never had the car you mention but on my current car the seats will get warm in less than a minute but on other cars it has taken about three minutes. Also depends on the air temperature as to how long it takes to notice that something is happening. Sounds like you may have an issue though.

Mine are slower to get warm, and when they do get warm, not as warm as my 11 year old golf with leather seats. I was surprised how little they warm up even on the high setting on my v8v. I rarely wear many clothes in the car either. I'm a Geordie, so it is not in the DNA.
Better a Geordie than a Georgie Having lived in Newcastle I can see where you are coming from. The Big Market on a Saturday Night in January....boob tubes and mini skirts

I've had a few nights out in the Big Market when I was a student; townies are not allowed to wear a coat - it is in fact a Bylaw in Newcastle.Heated Seats are CRUCIAL when using the McDonalds Drive Thru - stick the Chicken Select XL meal on the pre-heated passenger seat and you have a lovely hot meal awaiting you upon arrival chez toi !!
Ok, so the McFlurry doesn't mix well with the Bridge of Weir.....and the car does smell for a few days thereafter.... but it's certainly a strategy to be perfected
Lovin' It

Pardon Seb !!Every now and then you just NEED to do it.
Normal service will be resumed shortly, with our booking at the 2 Michelin Star Square in Mayfair next month, followed by the 1 Michelin Star Fraiche (Monsieur Gould's favorite) five weeks later.
