Mine are slower to get warm, and when they do get warm, not as warm as my 11 year old golf with leather seats. I was surprised how little they warm up even on the high setting on my v8v.
Same here with my Vantage, wife's MX5 is toasty in a minute.

Single setting on the DB9 takes a few minutes and gets hot enough for me to warm my slippers in fact I usually turn them off they get so hot.

Tried mine today. Seat warmed up quicker than the 1st to 2nd gear shift does.
Is it only me then whose heated seat is either on or off. none of this changing settings?
Possibly the age of the car?

My 2007 car has a 3 position switch - middle off, fwd low heat, rear high heat.

I think 2-stage heating came in after 2007 (with the uopdarted seats?), along with memory control, at least on the DB9. I'd quite like the 2 stage, but memory seats serve no purpose for me so I don't miss that!

There are many things I now have on cars that a few years ago I would have dismissed as frippery.

- heated seats : as mentioned above. Cracking when you've had back issues.
- cruise control : 50mph average speed zones make this very handy.
- memory seats : very useful as the other half drives the car quite regularly and is (thankfully) a very different shape to me.
- auto wipers : that crappy rain we get here that is always in-between settings on intermittent or the two speeds. Auto wipers on my Audi and Volvo sort it no problem.
- auto lights : purely because, as the above indicates, I'm reaching a Zenith (or Nadir!) of fat laziness smile
- parking sensors : see above biggrin
