Spoke to these guys. Euro 200 for a break in box. Gives 2 composite inputs.
They also sell to Aston in Belgium
Will now await maverick to tell us all how to take the car to bits and fit it!

I have been thinking of the front and rear camera kit which Aston have on the website. Have not asked my dealer yet, I don't think I will like the price. But I am thinking it is cheaper than a new cf part, front or rear. I was also watching the thread on recording cameras and wondered if this could be wired into the front system. Any ideas anyone?

This works for me too. Or using the mirrors.
I wouldn't want the camera as it means you have to have the sat nav screen up. Don't like having the screen up.
I've got a reversing camera on the motorhome..... But it is 24ft long and doesn't have a rear window.... Works well and allows me to reverse into tight spots on my own....I wouldn't want the camera as it means you have to have the sat nav screen up. Don't like having the screen up.
I have googled trying to find a box that will take 2 x video inputs and provide a split screen as above without joy. Any suggestions?
Thinking about this and mounting an Aston style switch in the trinket / 12v accessory box in the DB9 centre console seems the most practical place to put it. Could also mount an additional video input socket there to allow connection of another device.
The switches are momentary I believe so a simple pulse on / pulse off circuit would need adding which are cheap on ebay.
The front camera I would guess can be mounted by drilling a hole in the front number plate - the cameras are tiny and from memory the front bumper mount is relatively thick.
The rear camera could either be of the type that replaces a number plate lamp, or potentiality be mounted near / above / in the rear centre brake light. I dont fancy drilling a hole in the bumper!

Why? Is the screen up all the time on the new Vanquish?
I'd also require a delete rear spoiler option too
I think it;s up if the music is on... which is absurd, so i hope not.I'd also require a delete rear spoiler option too
That rear spoiler, love it or loathe it (I am the former) is a work of art. Not quite sure it will work on the Volante quite as well

I still loathe it. They should have developed a retractable one like the One-77 if it needed more downforce. That rear spoiler, love it or loathe it (I am the former) is a work of art. Not quite sure it will work on the Volante quite as well
Having the screen up all the time is stupid too.
