I am not a prolific poster, but thought I would share my excitement - have had a DB9 for three years in Vertigo blue which I loved. It was sold on sale or return very quickly by my local dealer, and I ordered a new DB9. Great fun speccing it, some sleepless nights over wheel choice etc, but finally got there. Couldnt find a colour that I liked more, so have gone with Vertigo Blue again. Went to the factory earlier this week to see her in build, fantastic experience. Now cannot wait till mid March when she will be ready!!

Congrats on the new purchase, keep the pictures coming. I saw a Volcano Red at the boat show and I have to say that it looked fantastic.

May see it in the car park when I am going past sometime in the summer wink

Have gone for Winter Wheat interior, this is a new colour for this year, with the upper enviroment in Dark Blue and dark blue carpets. Gone for the leather headlining as well - hopefully will look good!!

Congratulations. Of the recent crop of new cars from AM, the revised DB9 is one of my favourites. I think it looks beter than the Vanquish II smile

Sounds fantastic, never seen a Vertigo DB9, old or new. That interior sounds wonderful as well, had a leather headlining in my old Maserati... just feels so luxurious yes

March 1st delivery I take it? Is there a running in period..?

You've guessed it, diamond polished graphite wheels - had some sleepless nights over the wheel choice, much to my other halfs amusement! Will probably be nearer the middle of march, as having the full ventureshield kit fitted, will post some pictures once I lay my hands on it!!

I think it's going to look gorgeous! Don't forget to have any marks etc polished out before the film gets applied. You wouldn't want to seal them in.

Thank you for all your messages, must admit, getting very excited now!!smile
The ventureshield is being organised by the dealer before delivery - presumably they will ensure perfectly clean before it is fitted??? You've got me worried now Paddy, think I need to have a quick word with them!!!

Paddy is right
My S was vastly improved from the factory by having it machine polished and corrected before putting the Ventureshield on
