It would prolly just be better to offer a manual option on the S than to just be able to get as part of a package.
Which they ironically started doing just before releasing this wink

I know. That's why I don't think the SP10 makes any sense. It doesn't offer anything you can't get separately, but it limits your choices and there's nothing uniquely special about it.

Chaps, what sort of time frame are we talking with this new Vantage? Any ideas?

Don't you get some V12V bodywork bits?

Whatever, if it helps them sell a few more cars then that's good for us!

If ever I manage to get in the market for a band new Vantage, an "S" with a manual box would be where my pennies goyes

Oh wait...

Only available in Europe - excluding GB. WTF Aston?!
idea ~ I have just realised why this SP10 model is not available in GB.

"Which model Aston Martin do you own?"

reply, "IT IS THE V8 VANTAGE SPEEDING PENALTY." ~ laugh

The V8VS already has all the V12V bodywork bits except the bonnet. You can even get the same bits for the standard 13MY V8V as an option.

Nothing that is either already on the S or an option on the S
I bought mine in 2011 and other than the paint colour and ASM2 it is exactly the SP10 spec

As others have said I can't see the point of it

I have the same question.
Anyone can help on how many SP10's were produced?
If so can we find out Coupes and Roadsters?

I just reserved one...

Good work..!

Not sure on exact numbers, UK wide I seem to recall about 50 odd was what I was told at some point. A few more in Germany, France and the usual places.

I had one and liked it, Ceramic looks awesome in the sunlight.

It's no rarer than any other V8S to be honest so make sure you're not paying a premium for it over any other V8S.

What did you get, Manual or SS ?

Pics remember or it didn't happen biggrin

I know I'm in the minority (obviously) but I'd never buy a grey car. They just look dull to me. getmecoat

I've been happy with my SP10 for the past 4 years now... Also known as the Vantage S. Chipped and secondary cat delete with a Fabspeed X-Pipe. The car sounds wonderful, wonderful wonderful. The dyno says she's good for 470 hp now.
