2007 v8 vantage iPhone 5 nav success - kind of

I was out in the wilds of Newcastle Upon Tyne last weekend getting lost. I asked mrs mac to use the iPhone 5 google maps navigation doohickey and to my surprise the directions were beamed through Bluetooth to the speakers. This was rather pleasing!

However, after every direction mrs Aston lady says "call ended"

Example:

Sexy google lady "in 100 yards, turn left"
Angry warden in women's Prison Aston lady "call ended"
Sexy google lady "in 100 yards, turn right"
Angry warden in women's Prison Aston lady "call ended"

Etc.

Does anyone else have experience of using iPhone 5s for audio nav in my Heath Robinson 2007 system, and stopping it saying "call ended" all the time?

It reads over bluetooth on my 2008 V8V, with factory BT too. Doesn't say "call ended" though.

I think it only comes over BT if the stereo isn't playing music, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I will pop out in the car and play around a bit more. Maybe it's an iOS level thing. What level iOS are you using? I'm on 6.0.2
