It looks as fking stupid as this :

911 front - estate car back.

AM front - estate car back.

What a total and utter sack of st. Both should be shot at birth.

The Panamera isn't an estate back. For that you need the fantastic looking (imo) Sport Turismo:

Yup. You can tell they are 'coach' builders.

Please keep Italians away from Astons.

Pretty please smile

Fabulous looking car that I would love to have in my garage biggrin Need to win the lottery or wait a few years if it was ever built frown

Always loved the concept of Aston Shooting Breaks and hopefully if enough buyers signal an interest then it would be made.

Wow... did an estate car 'touch you inappropriately' as a child?

It looks great for what it is, in mine and seemingly most people's opinions. Would I swap if for my Volante... No, would I run it alongside it. Oh yes

Aston would sell a LOT of these scratchchin

Disagree matey, for 2 reasons....

1. The price point, as usual for an Italian Aston, would be £300k.
2. They would only make 100 of them.

This car would be no different to a Zag.

I'm not saying they should be built via Bertone, but that Aston should produce this car as the next genration Rapide. It is obviously built on VH architecture so is doable for them to make at Rapide costs on their own production lines yes

Much better than the regular Rapide, which is a little awkward lengthwise from a styling POV. 'Brake' styling works very well with the xtra length chassis.

If AM produce this car they will surely have a winner on their hands. My understanding is that the Rapide is now their best selling model to add a shooting brake version would only add to its success. I am not having a go at anyone but what is not to like? Plus if you own an Aston Martin surely you want the firm to succeed.

Why do you insist on repeating this nonsense over and over? Rapide is a dud saleswise.

C'mon Rob....you know better than that.

Zod posted up the Rapide claim a while back and was never able to produce verification when questioned on this point.

As for liking it......is everyone that dislikes the Cygnet to be labelled as anti-AM ?? wink

3 doors or 5 it looks terrific. Please make it Aston (with a manual option). Keep the price point @ $200K and it will sell well.

They will never make it with a manual.

Why would they price it lower than a normal Rapide too?

Why do you get so defensive / angry when 'this nonsense' is mentioned?

What is their best-selling model then? With cold hard facts to back it up, of course.

I haven't seen anything to the contrary of the Rapide being their best seller to be honest... have you? Not many V8/V12 Vantages and old shape DB9s/Virages sold and of course the V12VR, 310quish and DB9.2 wil hopefully have good figures when they're registered in March. In the meantime, is it so painful to imgine AML might be selling more Rapides? confused

All of you imploring AM to put this into production claerly don't bother reading the body of articles like this, do you?

"It has been commissioned as a strict one-off by an Aston Martin collector"
