+1 for Bridge Mill - they did a great job for me.

Had only done ~1,000 miles since the last service, and they were completely up front about what filters, etc. did/didn't need replacing. But even with that low a mileage, dodgy roads + 12 months erosion = a spring needing replacing. Do not like to think what could have happened if that had been ignored for another year, if nothing else, so I'd NEVER miss a service. (Plus re-sale value, peace of mind, and the fact the car deserves it!)

It hurts when you look at the cost of servicing

My Wifes DBS has done 1200 miles in 2 years from new and 200 miles since last years service. Such a waste of decent oil....Oh and money

I think if my car had only a couple of hundred miles since last service, I would not be changing the oil. I would be astonished if the oil was not fit for further use than that in complete safety of the engine.

There's a five year old V8V for sale on ebay currently with just 2077 miles on it. Such a shame, wasted!

Leo, if you need that oil to have a distinctly used look, I will happily drive it a few hundred more for your wife yes

That sounds like a nice DBS. Is it manual?

I'm thinking of saving the oil for something else

No an Auto Volante........she's like brand new, never even been out in the rain, hence the low mileage wink

Actually it is a good idea not to take it out in the rain, another PH'r on this forum discovered he had squeaky wipers and couldnt be bothered fitting new ones.
So he bought a newer DB9 Volante instead of wipers.....classic man maths
