That covers it, I think, everyone else have the same opinion?

What about having a plate that has AML in the plate?

I understand they can only go on an 07 plate and above, anything less like a 56, 06, 55, 05, 54, 04, etc it cannot be put on.

Also it depends on where you get the plate made, but I understand they are ....... oo 07 bom ....... if you get the plate made online, then you can get what you want (0007 BOM), but if you get stopped and challenged by the cop , then they may make you change the plate frown

I'd consider other combinations.

Anyone I've ever seen with a 007 plate has been a bit more Jim Bowen than Daniel Craig.

I think you're better off sticking to plates that reference the car.

Would 007 drive around with "007" on his number plate? nono but you do what ever works for you. It's your car and your choice. Good AML plates are hard to find, there's a few on the DVLA website, but they're a bit unimaginative........unless your name is W321.

Great sentiment. In theory. Do you have a 007 number plate? No smile

I tend to find every personalised plate silly, regardless of 007 references. So yes.

The 007 plate with my initials I like is £999. The AML plate with 07 (my car year) and my initials is £250, so not too bad actually.

I've got a personalised plate, it's my name - which is so odd, no one knows it's personalised except those who know me. Perfect crime bandit

No..... But if I wanted one I'd get one.... In much the same way as I wanted dark wheels, tinted glass, and different coloured grill mouth......yes

Like I said, its just a number plate....

I concur!!
I do have a 007 plate and love it. But also toyed with the idea of a V8 plate too.
Go for whatever YOU like!!

ok I guess if you want to pretend you are 007 ...will it manage to fool the ladies though if its on the wrong Aston Martin ? wink

"personal" or "vanity" plates are just that; personal to you, so get what you like

Ive had some daft ones for over 10 years, bought as presents for me, no more than £180....but it saves me remembering lots of plates so I have them on all my vehicles

buy something decent and they seem to appreciate better than inflation, which is certainly better than the cars they are on LOL

If my wife is anyone to go by, then the 0007 plate will fool 99.9 % of the population, only people, "in the know", will understand that it is actually a OO 07 plate.

People associate Astons with James Bond, not the derivative of the make. smile

Why do you keep saying its OO 07confused

If someone wants to put K007 WTF or J007 BOM or many other combinations on a DB9 they can if they're available...

Didn't realise that, I thought we were talking about OO 07, but having re-read the thread, I see the OP did not specify, I agree that 007 WTF would be bril, no one would know what it means except my children smile

Could the OP clarify what type of 007 plate he's looking at .......? smile
