I didn't tell anyone anything. It's my opinion. No horses involved, low or high.

Good grief. Who would have thought a few letters and numbers arranged on a registration plate would be such an emotive subject. Up at the recent meet at the heritage museum, I seem to recall that the majority of cars had private plates.......or was it the minority???? Who cares. I really couldn't give a toss.

I think some plates can look a little wk, some are very comical and some enhance the car IMO. Personally I have 72RS and 97RS. I've had several personalised bike plates too. I don't really see the harm. Nothing compared to the plate flexibility in the states!

yes

I have seen him in his monster pick-up with massive chromed alloys ready to kill mad

Just for the record, my Aston has a private plate, V12 with my initials. It does not however intimate that I am an imaginary spy to 'make people smile' smile

I'm off to the DVLA auction in Leeds later. Just wondering if I take the V12...... Seems to be different opinions about the weather t'up north later.

Any real time weather reports for the Leeds area gratefully received.

Really. That is odd.

I thought you hated number plates. Didn't you say you prefer to keep your front number plate in the boot?

Your Aston Martin does look smart though, without 'personal' plates. smile

And thanks for the compliment!!! I too love the look of my car... 2 years into owning it and still not bored with it!
