This one has been for sale for years:

https://www.regtransfers.co.uk/main/secureordering...

Maybe an alternative for someone who was thinking of putting 007 or M1 6 on their Aston :-)

Interestingly the first time I ever drove an Aston Marting was in 1976 - a white DBS with the registration PEN 51

Someone had better tell him that Regtransfers have it up for sale then! I seem to remember they had Rob & Molly's plate up for sale at one point.

I was thinking of selling one of my plates (VO07 AMV) and got a quote from one of the companies. The next time I went on their website they had it up for sale at POA - apparently in was in their terms that if they gave a quote then it would be put on their website immediately Once I told them that I was not going to sell it they took it down but do not think they would have done unless I had asked them to.

Nice one! Some people think they're daft, but I think personal plates are a lot of fun.

I was at the DVLA auction in Leeds when that plate was sold. It started off with a reserve of just a few hundred quid, but two blokes got into a pissing competition and it ended up going for about fifty grand!

I seem to recall it was the Hull City chairman, but I might have made that up.
