007 plates are cringeworthy imo. AML look ok but wouldn't be my choice. I quite like the V8 xxx or V12 xxx plates though.
Young George gets it wrong occasionally, but on this subject we are in agreement.......007 are worse than gold spinners on your wheels.......it shows a total lack of style and anybody sporting a 007 plate should be shot.....they are bloody awfulApart from that they are fine ( for the great unwashed)

This is bad I'm agreeing with George again
I personally dislike any Bond style plate and don't really like the AML/Bond thing either, AML is OK ish.
I'm quiet happy with a plate that is personal to you (like ours )
Each to their own though.

I was 9 years old when JB drove his Aston Martin and my Dad took me along to see it. It made quite an impression. I am sure that like many young lads of that time the two will alway's be inseperable to us. A 007 plate alway's makes me smile, I really dont understand the dislike of it. Ok I wouldnt have one but that's only because I'm so shy!

Do you wear your dinner suit everywhere too? I dislike it as it's quite sad driving round pretending to be James Bond, and it's even worse since 95% of the time they're on Astons that Bond hasn't driven!

I like a good bond film always haveBut overt product placement just puts me off
I'd rather something gained success on its merits
But as I said each to their own

I remember it like it was yesterday Phil. It was the year after we had a real winter, before central heating! Everyone at school was either James Bond or The Man from Uncle.

Is having an 007 registration on your car any worse than having an 007 watch on your wrist??

I do have an Omega Seamaster, but decided against the 007 version.........I'll leave the gimmicks to Timex. Same principal, I guess. Discuss...............
Having said that, the opening scene of Quantum of Solace does give me a bit of a gentleman's early morning issue. As do scenes from Goldfinger, the living daylights, casino royale and more recently, Skyfall. I missed out die another day on purpose, the vanquish was more Knight Rider than Bond. But at no point in any of them was 007 present on the number plate.
