Nobody said gliptone wasnt a decent cleaner and I think that if people are fine with what they are using, then fair play. It's just the conditioner that isn't to everyone's tastes. I've known one detailer who used it and when the client stuck his head in the car, he asked if the detailer was wearing some sort of medicinal cream because of the smell.

In terms of how conditioners smell, Swissvax leather milk is imo, very chemically smelling and not nice. Zymol "treat" almost smells like bananas, zaino z-10 has a nice type of leather smell and gliptone smells like old people....

I find poorboys natty's blue works the best on my car also its very easy to use and its only around £12 a tub, it also smells of bubble gum so that's the reason I buy it.

One of the things I like about the gliptone is that, every time someone looks into, or sits in my car I nearly always get the same comment....

"Blimey it smells like its a brand new car". smile

I'm with Luna on this one. I've used Gliptone for years as directed on the cleaner and conditioner. I have found that it does indeed improve the suppleness of the leather and after it has been used regularly it does bring back a lovely leather smell. Initially it is indeed a bit strange but that soon goes.
