I've just ordered the Makita DK18000 cordless drill and impact wrench set. I had a go with the builders while I was home. Fantastic piece of kit!

DeWalt all the way for me. Compressed air to fit the stethoscope into MG and impact wrench stuff.

I'm in Bristol.

Never been here before.

Seems quite nice. They speak a bit funny though.

in the next couple of hours I'm off to collect a 6 tonne digger and a dumper truck for a weekend of the ultimate boys toys.

Talking of drills, My sons oil rig is due in for maintenance over the weekend and I plan to photograph it arriving in the river tees. Well I say my sons, what I really mean is the one he works on of course.

Apparently they are not covered by a three year warranty and known issues can lead to quite nasty repercussions if not handled properly. Up to now he has not experienced any oil leaks, although they are still expensive to run at over £250,000 per day, whether you use it or not.

The main challenge of course is hoping it doesn't get knicked while near Middlesbrough and sold for scrap or parts.

Don't tell me you hate pretentious water features too!
In fairness I've come to hate everything involving water. Anything you want to hold in water always, but always fking leak. Anything you want to keep water out always fking leaks.

Grrrr
