'Oil rigs' don't pump oil, they drill for it. Production platforms 'pump' oil...or more accurately redirect the oil that flows under pressure from below. If you want to know more about progressive cavity pumps and electrical submersible pumps for when the oil doesn't want to flow, I can be found in the Dog and Duck any day except Wednesdays smile

250k per day? Nice, we are running a drillship that costs in excess of 2 million dollars per day. It's not even >that< good rolleyes
and then there's FPSO's & Xmas trees

You still on the original cells?
I've changed mine every 2 to 3 years as their capacity rapidly falls away dramatically and I reckon to always treat em nice.
Avoid partial charges, "flatten" prior to charging (yes I know not to fully discharge ni cad) and don't store for extended periods discharged.
Ah well, they're only £40ish each and when working they're great bits of kit.

Yep 2 originals always cycled to flat then charged immediately.

Back on topic laugh

I see Jockman's 1,3 & 4 are neck and neck!
Jockman 2 seems to be the most sensible chap.
I think Jockman 5 seems to be swayed by the others.
