Had a reply to an ad as follows:-

Hi.
Thanks for the mail,I really appreciate your prompt reply... First,I'm ok with your asking price £360, I wanted to call you but unfortunate am sorry,I'm deaf!!! Secondly i don't want you to bother about the shipping process,All you need do is to keep the item in a safe and good condition.

I am not around at the moment because of my wife is about to give birth and she insisted i had to be with her during that special moment of her life due to her sad experienced in labor room, I hope she has a successful labor this time ,So bear with me and lets finish this sale as i have make all arrangements. I will instruct my Financier to issue out a certified check to you.

I will paid cheque but it takes 1-2days to clear a cheque, You will assured that cheque must clear before pickup. Notify me immediately when you get the funds so i will contact shipper to write you to schedule a pick up time and day with you...

I don't mind adding an extra £50 so you can keep the ( Item ) in my favor and take the add off the internet... I'm sure you can await the payment in the mail, I will instruct my financier to mail the payment check by express mail in order to get to you as fast as possible. Furnish me with requested details below.

Full name... ( That will appear on the check )
Full Address ( Apartment # and Flat # )
City..
Country :
Poster code...
Mobile Phone number...
Home Phone number...

Can you remove the ad posting and consider it sold to me and ill appreciate if you can do that today OK will compensate you for doing that..I will be looking forward to read from you.I just cant wait to see my first born,i will be checking my email often to keep in touch with you.

Regard.
Martin.

So I replied with:-

Unfortunately I have now sold the item because my sister has been taken hostage by a group of jungle warriors and they are demanding many pounds for her safe release. I need to raise money fast and 360 quid just isn't going to cut any ice with a bunch of machete waiving maniacs. So please send me your bank account details along with whichever name you are using today. I don't necessarily want any money from you, just your details so that I can apply for as much credit as I can for her safe release. I will then use any spare cash to pay said warriors to ensure that nobody else is conned by your pathetic little scam and to cut your ears off as you obviously have no need for them.

Please send money.
