Hello all,
Well I've waited a very long time for this and I've finally arrived.
I'm looking for help having waited so long for a particular spec car.
any suggestions how where I can find an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
The Car i want must be Silver or Gun Metal Grey. The interior Trim is where my search fails
I am looking for Magnolia/Ivor leather trim with the Black Carbon Fibre door cappings centre console etc.
Ideal car should be 2006 ish with no more than 36k Miles. Obviously with full AM service history.
replies and finders fee reward information to me here.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Well that is quite a specific shopping list you have. The best chance you have is talking to a few dealers and telling them what you want, going by the age of the car you're looking at the independents so McGurk, Top555 etc are probably the best bet, otherwise lots of evenings spent with Autotrader.

Good luck, will be worth it when you get a car you want

You may need to have a lot of patience. It took me 18 months of searching to find my V8V with ivory interior and in all that time it was only the third one I'd seen.

Are you sure that the car that you are after actually exists?

Silver or grey? Yep, plenty of those.

With an ivory interior? Not so many of those but that combo must exist.

With carbon fibre centre console and door panels? Well, was this even an option on the early (ie 2006) cars???

It's one thing searching for a needle in a haystack. But it's something else if that needle doesn't even exist!

Have you bought Grant's book yet? (Link at the top of the forum). This will give you the best idea if your dream car actually exists. Good luck either way.

A dealer will charge £6000 to fit new Aston Martin seat covers. (2 seats, 4 covers)

Pretty sure carbon fiber center console ski slope was not available on the earlier models and carbon fiber door caps are not even available on the '13MY Vantage (I just ordered one) although both are available aftermarket or can get a later model carbon fiber ski slope on Ebay etc and a fairly easy install. The light tan interior you are referring to is most likely Sandstorm. Sahara is a darker tan and Cream Truffle an almost white but don't see those often, especially the Cream Truffle. Sandstorm would be the easiest to find.

I think you're most likely to find a silver/grey car with the light interior you want, then have to get the carbon aftermarket fitted.
