I think I'd rather have the money that cost knocked off the watch.

The watch was purchased of a Spaniard who had invested in property heavily in 2008 ! It was shall we say rather good value !

Hello watch fans wavey For some of us the trip was about more than the JLC visit - it was about the cars, the driving, the characters and the laughs. Thanks again Simon smile

Molly, thanks for posting those super pics. For those of us that weren't there, we can at least get a flavour of the craic. I hope one day to be able to meet you all.smile

Wonderful pictures Molly, or should I say Rob smile

Such great memories from the trip, and as you say it was about more than watches - it was the drive, the people, the laughs and making new friends.

Looking forward to July biggrin

Ah George, how much longer are you going to be with us on the AM PH forum? It seems the day is fast approaching when you will pack in the pipe & slippers (& the DB9 that goes with them) in favour of full time biker-mode. Can't say I blame you. We had a lot of fun out of bikes in a previous life too. When you have the right degree of maturity we will welcome you back into the fold....and when the need for some serious immaturity overcomes you then we will look forward to welcoming you on tour too wink

AM might be sold if I run out of money mid-season when racing next year. S3 is going soon for a T5 VW van. Triumph is going soon for the R6 Supersport bike. Got loads of track days to pay for but cannot bring myself to sell the Aston yet.
