Had it on mine once. It cleared itself very quickly, probably due to the thrashing your car has had.
Glad you got back OK.

I have it on mine too at the moment and it hasn't cleared yet. I believe it's an O2 sensor???
I'd like to know whether it should be driven too though....

Hello all, yes car is perfectly safe to drive. This is usually down to a faulty O2 sensor - can be replaced on warranty (in fact mine is being done right now!) ... in the meantime to get rid of the annoying light get yourself an ODB2 reader and clear the error code.

Yes, I bought one after reading a post from Mikey & DMS Rick recommending it. Works like a charm.

This one definitely works on AM:

I bought one to clear my emissions service light.

Does anyone have a recommondation for a OBDII Bluetooth Dongle that works live with an iPhone 5 or possibly an iPad?

I did a bit of digging about this a few months ago. The news isn't particularly good, I'm afraid. Take a look in this thread for my posts:

The plug is just by your left knee, under the steering wheel. There are two: one for the engine and one for the bodywork (IIRC).

Plugs into the OBD port in the drivers footwell.
There are two plugs that look the same, the other one is for the AM diagnostics.

hi mike
all week except thursday and sunday , just call in,thinking on if you dont want to drive it you can take the kit and plug it in at home. it goes without saying if i can use it.....

A few months ago my mates db9v got itself well and truly confused after a flat battery , it eventually started ok but the light stayed on with code for "fuel pump driver offline" , cleared the code , never came back. sometimes its a one off and just needs clearing.
