Hard to tell from the pictures, but what's the differance between the front lip and splitter. Andy, Brent can you confirm which type you guys have fitted? Thanks.
This is termed as the front lip. As far as I've seen they protrude a similar distance but the splitter does not have the rounded edge as shown on the lip Yes, despite spending a little time on seeing if it could be done without bumper removal it had to come off.Having done it it now seems quite straight forward... but there was some head scratching along the way until I worked out where all the fixings were.Rear light assemblies disconnected an removed, the original 'diffuser' and parking sensors off, both wheels off (individually), wheel arch liners out, bumper fastners removed, then gently lowered to unplug remaining sensors and number plate lamps.
then you reach the point of no return... drilling the original bumper for new fastners for the diffuser. It all went to plan though and I would say that I spent about 5 hours on it in total . So quite difficult but with care and concentration not too bad.. and very satisfying.

Looks great. Can I ask how difficult it was to fit the rear diffuser? Presumably it involves removing the rear bumper?

And saved yourself the £700! I had to pay to get mine done. The Grange said it took them 4 hours, including bonding the cooler mesh to the diffuser, which sounds fair if it took you 5 hours. Did you bond the mesh to the diffuser or fit the diffuser flush over it?then you reach the point of no return... drilling the original bumper for new fastners for the diffuser. It's a shame the carbon looks so milky. My OEM Aston carbon is all very close to black in colour.
Great for the money though.
It is the photography and the clear that make it seem so. In reality it's glass clear and natural carbon colour like every other carbon part I've ever had.Great for the money though.

Hi Guys, new to the forum and over here in the states. I have been looking into carbon fiber parts since I bought my 2008 DB9 a few months ago. I found three outfits (Singapore, US and China). Oya seems by far the cheapest but their pricing sell sheet to be blunt sucks. They have DB9 and vantage parts comingled as far as I can tell. By the way the 2012 sheet and the 2013 sheets looks to show the same prices. Unfortunately I am too much of an aston neophyte to know what vantage parts are the same as DB9 parts. I already made an Ebay mistake of buying a replacement console/nav lid (ski slope) and it attaches differently to my 2008. Mine has a metal backing on the ski slope and requires a fitting kit with plastic rings to hold the buttons. The one I bought is a plastic backing requiring no rings. The nav lids have different fit points too. I'd hate to order the Oya AM1 part only to find it has to be returned. By the way, anyone need some walnut door caps and a console? btw the door caps they show appear to be db9 door caps not vantage which someone mentioned earlier. Can anyone give me an idea of which of the parts on this list would work on a 2008 db9 and thanks in advance for the help

Thought I would join the party,I cracked the plastic lip on the front of my car today so need a replacement. Again I am confused as to what to replace it with as per previous threads. I would be interested in a front spliter for my 06 Vantage. Please pm me or reply as i would like to add to any imminent orders for parts...
