Welcome to the Aston enclave of PH
Have you still got the S2000?
Any bits Seb & Mark don't need?
Hi Mikey, Have you still got the S2000?

No, got shot of that before the bottom fell out of them (2 years ago now). TBH i don't even own a performance car anymore as family life has taken all that away (finances couldn't stretch to luxuries like that).
Still come here to PH to keep up the interest in cars and offer my opinion on threads.

Probably a wise move - the S2000 seems to have got a bit too cheap now No, got shot of that before the bottom fell out of them (2 years ago now). TBH i don't even own a performance car anymore as family life has taken all that away (finances couldn't stretch to luxuries like that).

I guess the day job gives you enough of a performance car buzz
Nice to see your input on an area I know you have A LOT of expertise in.
Fancy doing a few small items like you did on the S?

Unfortunately i don't work on the tools anymore and wear a white shirt so doing stuff for myself isn't easy.
The S2000 sparkplug cover was the last thing i made.

Nothing to fit a 9
I saw a 9 fitted with a carbon fibre diffuser in the UAE, and thought it looked the nuts and quite fancied one.
Some of the interior parts would fit a DB9, such as the ski slopes, door sills and door pulls. In fact the AM4 Door uppers would only fit a DB9/DBS they are the wrong shape for a Vantage.I saw a 9 fitted with a carbon fibre diffuser in the UAE, and thought it looked the nuts and quite fancied one.
Hi GingerMunky,
thanks for sending the pictures of the parts to me by email.
I agree with CompositeGuru, from the pictures, the parts looks pretty good and very well made using the right processes.
I am a little bit surprised to see an autoclave process here at that price but why not !
I guess the acid test will be if they fit well and the parts are not sitting under stress (if they were slightly not the right shape).
Please let me know when you have them fitted and how much work it was to make them fit.
Also, please remember that one of the issues with overseas workshop is repeatability and you could experience very different quality depending on who has layed up your part. For example when I have the CFRP ECUs done I always insist on the same laminator.
