I am also interested in a rear diffuser. Thinking of making a purchase.
Do we know if there are better DHL costs if more than 1 are bought?
The shipping cost at the start of this thread were more or less the same for piece. All four parts were parts were delivered in the same box, and weigh nothing so I think you ordered ten parts the cost wouldn't be much different. A joint purchase by all of us is definitely the cheapest option.Do we know if there are better DHL costs if more than 1 are bought?
I'll post again next weekend after the diffuser is fitted.

For those that might be interested. They do not supply a carbon fiber splitter for the V12V, which is a shame as I need one and have seen a few damaged ones on other cars. Anyone got one lying around they could send to China for them to use as a template?
craig, please let me know if you find one. Mine has a nick in it, thanks to a brick in the road.CraigV12V said:

Craig,I replaced mine last year and kept the original splitter.
It has a very small break at the centre and would make a perfect template.
I am happy to let you use it or I can even send it directly.

GingerMunky, many looking to learn your experience fitting the carbon parts. How did your expert fare? How is their appearance? Anything to report?
Your pieces, as well as those of Jerodw, looked as fine as any hand assembled carbon components I have seen in the colonies.
Here's the splitter. Fitted at Newtown Motors in Cwmbran £160 + VAT, talk to Pete. http://www.newtown-motors.co.uk/Your pieces, as well as those of Jerodw, looked as fine as any hand assembled carbon components I have seen in the colonies.
Haven't got the diffuser done yet need to book in with the body shop as it needs to be attached to the rear bumper which needs to be removed first. Hopefully next week if I can get over there with the car again.
.
The fit is pretty much spot on, with all the holes lining up with the existing screws as you can see. It tucks into the lips to hold in place perfectly. Seems too good to be true really at the price. Unless of course the diffuser turns out to be a nightmare, fingers crossed.

The fit and finish of that splitter looks fantastic. Much larger than the Aston Martin front splitter.
By the way, impressively shiny car! Good work
I bought a variable speed rotary sander when I bought the aston intent on keeping it very shiny. I don't use it for polishing, just apply wax. The finish is superb and it is quick enough to do regularly which offers a lot of protection. It's takes some practice but well worth it.By the way, impressively shiny car! Good work

I quite fancy the diffuser to tidy up the read though, and will be interested to see how easy it is to fit
I think you would need so skills to fit it, it's well beyond me. I don't think it would present a problem for any decent body shop though, I'll find out next week and upload so photos.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
