Am I reading right that you paid £160+ VAT for a garage to unscrew 12 bolts for you to fit the front splitter??? I've change my front splitter before without even jacking up the car and it took all of about 8 minutes. Sorry but that's insane; you should never use that garage again if they charged you that.

They were very prompt to respond to my email query on parts for DB9.2
Unfortunately they want me to send them the parts to mould up so unless you have a V8V you will have to wait a bit (though some of the interior parts may still fit).

Flipping heck!

Are you saying that these are basically Aston Martin OE parts? Looks good.

No - don't see anyone saying that! I have all the OEM Aston carbon on mine and the quality difference is obvious in my opinion.

Also heard the Chinese diffuser fits like a pig in heels. That said, it's very cheap and splitter above does look good.

I need some help. I am ordering these parts from Oya carbon for my DB9. Everything highlighted in red. (AM numbers are what they have and the ???s are the things they don't. They asked me to send them the originals for the ???s and they can do it and send them back)

Now the thing is, the price list they sent me is for the vantage. I just want to know, are all these parts the same size in the db9?

They are the same
IIRC that center part has back lights on some of the dial scales, how are they going to deal with that?
Are you trying to replicate the Mansory carbon fibre DBS your name is inspired from wink

Keen to see how you get on with this lot! Can I ask the total figure? Can't see all of these parts on their price list.

Thanks for the info.
Its gonna be like this apparently:

And well, im not exactly making it a cyrus. But close. Im going to start with the interior and slowly work out the exterior. The grille is going to be like this, with a smoother join at the top corners.

The left and right side of the grille are going to be more rounded than straight. More like the cyrus and the one-77 rather than the rapide S
(^This Pic taken from the site alibaba. They are selling at 15000 dollars(!) im gonna get one made for around 2000 at a well reputed local shop called "Chrome and Carbon")
The rear diffuser is gonna be like the DBS diffuser but with sharper edges like the cyrus, but with the exhausts in the default position, not in the center like the cyrus. The hood like the cyrus, and side skirts like the DBS.
It's going to be a while until i start on the exterior, but i will post pics as i progress through!

The door uppers (AM4 in your photo) ARE NOT THE SAME on the DB9 and Vantage. They are very different shaped parts.
I'll be very interested to see how the stereo/heating controls panel works out. It looks excellent.

Here is my Vantage door upper in Carbon, note the cut-out around the speaker.

This is the pic of said panels from oya carbon's price list.

Looks very much like the db9 panels than the vantage. Though it is listed under "V8 Vantage" Very confusing...
The language barrier doesn't help when i try asking them about this. Quite frustrating really.

Might i ask where you got your carbon fiber accessories from?

Yes, that panel looks like a DB9 door upper.
Mine were done by a chap in Turkey - Nexon Motors. They are Carbon Laminated original parts.
I love the look and I'm pleased with what was achieved. I look forward to seeing the results of your project!

Anyone know what this stuff is like in direct sunlight? Mine's a roadster and it spends a lot of it's time sunbathing topless wink so I wouldn't want it warping or yellowing like some of the cheaper stuff does.

Very interested in the grille - I was going to go for a Rapide S one, but if the guys will make you up a curved slat one like the picture, I am VERY interested in a mini-group buy yes

Parts arrived in a crate, well packaged. Fitted in minutes.
No hesitation in using them.

Thanks to Andy Mac & Andy Parr for arranging the transaction and transport. Cheers guys.
