Just got the flyer on the SP 10 from Stratstones. Looks interesting but will see what they offer for mine!

Was at a dealer near me this morning. They had just sold their first manual V8S and we had a good chat about the SP10.

Next April may be a good month for me smile

Well you should not think so much then - the SP10 most definitely is for sale in the UK smile

It was announced by the factory earlier this year as being 'Europe excluding GB'

Surprise surprise, Aston involved in yet another marketing mix-up !!!

I suspect that the pricing makes SP10 attractive, however if I understand correctly, it's an S with some extra trim - paint, two tone rims, premium audio, one or two other bits

That's not to put it down, but just to clarify, don't think it has anything that's not standard or an option on the current S ?

am guessing that's cheaper than the S (even taking into account the manual box) ?

In fact, that's not much more than standard vantage IIRC, which normally has premium of nearer to 10k for softop, not 5k

S really is screwed - Aston go out of their way to pi** off their existing customers.....

I'm well aware of the difference thanks.... rolleyes

I was pointing out that the only announcement I've seen from the factory stated it was for continental Europe only.

Around 92K compared to around £105K for the current S. Same options list, so I would opt for ( if I was ordering one biggrin ) lightweight seats. I like my auto dimming mirror so that option too, and it has Premium Audio so I wouldn't opt for Bose. Coupe available in Ceramic Grey only (I love that colour) with suicide black interior with contrasting silver stitching. No choices on colours.

Hmmm, but what about the used V12V scratchchin

My message was for woollie. You said it 'wasn't' for sale - he counteracted by saying it 'is' for sale however you are both correct IMHO

There's history of ceramic black V12Vs being ordered in other colours - the white one on our trip was one such car IIRC. So whilst I like CG obviously as it's the same colour as mine, may be worth pushing if you want a different colour

Does it have everything S has and more ? If so, finally vantage being priced sensibly & competitively.

You're welcome. It does look like the dog danglies smile

If there was an Aston to have as a keeper and with some path to more performance a few years down the track this is it. A manual, limited edition V8S at a cheaper price than the standard V8S.

But then there is that V12V, although I suspect the V8S may be the more usable car year round.

this is very tempting. One small gripe though, why have a car where the main point of difference is the gearbox and build a sportshift car to show it off!

Assuming it's be the regular V8V gearstick, or maybe the V12V one will be on it/an option?

Also, when did the premium audio go to 750w? I always thought it was 700w.
