Is it to do with reaching the V12V originally promised build numbers?
If so, stand by for a new model. Surely AML cannot turn away customers.

During my discussion, I was informed that an order could most definitely be placed.
However, strong hints regarding a "new" model, with the "new" V12 engine were also dropped.
In respect of v12v coupe orders, dealers received a bulletin today saying no more orders could be placed
In respect of sp10 deliveries now and whether they can be in colours other than ceramic grey, spoke to a different dealer today ( not Wilmslow where my car is from) and an S they specced up for a customer arrived today and when they opened up the bonnet, there was an sp10 plaque. The car is not ceramic grey and has sportshift transmission.

I've also heard that V12V production is now over - just existing stock to sell.
New V12V "S" Coupe immanent. Vanquish 565BHP engine with ASM2 gearbox only, existing body style. Limited production numbers...
Guess that makes it the Vantage swansong, we will see!
There has been more than one v12v in test with 2 pedals for quite a while now- at least 6 months ago New V12V "S" Coupe immanent. Vanquish 565BHP engine with ASM2 gearbox only, existing body style. Limited production numbers...

Which engine and in which body style has certainly not been formally conveyed to dealers as at today so whilst you may well be right, it's conjecture at this stage

Sport shift is in the list of options along with the usual stuff. At the price it's quite a good deal IMHO, if you add the cost of the included options to the cost of standard S that is. I won't be buying however! The additional £33K needed has been hijacked by wifey for house "improvements" !In respect of sp10 deliveries now and whether they can be in colours other than ceramic grey, spoke to a different dealer today ( not Wilmslow where my car is from) and an S they specced up for a customer arrived today and when they opened up the bonnet, there was an sp10 plaque. Sorry to hear that - the beauty of being single !!! :-) I couldn't have bought my v12vr if I wasn't !
But it's not just a good price for sp10 compared to similarly specced S - it's base price is cheaper than that for an S but it has more as standard
Yes...meant that!! But it's not just a good price for sp10 compared to similarly specced S - it's base price is cheaper than that for an S but it has more as standard
Make the most of it Jonby...married life may catch up with you one day!

It would be wonderful in the 100th, to have a really exciting surprise launch.
Not just a Vanquish Volante, plus an existing model with bells on.
Careful what you wish for, we don't want another Lotus. Aston is small and can't support a large number of different models. Not just a Vanquish Volante, plus an existing model with bells on.

Just to fuel this fire ... I picked up my new Meteorite Silver V8 S Manual car from Grange last week.
And it is not an SP10. Official list price for car was ~102k with Premium audio, glass switches, alcantara steering wheel, new Garmin Satnav unit, and other standard S garnishes.
Very pleased with it, but likewise surprised about the lack of Aston official detail on the car!

Makes sense .... Also explains why Grange were happy to cut me a great deal on the official list price then. I thought it was a steal
Martin is a good chap. Or did you deal through James? Either way you got a good deal on a great car. Hoping to see Little Donkey at the Crooked Chimney for an early evening drink on Friday. Do you live locally? Be good to see you and the new V8S there. Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
